If you’re shopping for a DMARC monitoring tool, EasyDMARC is probably on your list. It’s one of the better-known names in the space, it has a lot of features, and it shows up near the top of most searches. So it’s fair to ask: if you’re looking for an EasyDMARC alternative, how does MonitorDMARC compare?
Full disclosure: I built MonitorDMARC, so read this with that in mind. I’ve tried to keep it honest. Every EasyDMARC number below comes from their public pricing page as of October 2026, and I’ll tell you where EasyDMARC is the better pick. Pricing pages change, so check theirs before you buy.
The short version
If you’re a small or mid-sized IT team that needs DMARC report monitoring, DNS change alerts, and history you can show an auditor, MonitorDMARC does that for less money, with more email volume and longer report retention at the entry level.
If you need a broad email security platform, with deliverability testing, threat intelligence, SSO, a dedicated MSP program, and dozens of integrations, EasyDMARC offers a lot more surface area, and you’ll pay for it.
Entry plans side by side
Here’s how the entry-level plans compare. Both cover two domains.
| MonitorDMARC Starter | EasyDMARC DMARC Plus | |
|---|---|---|
| Price, billed monthly | $19.99/month | $44.99/month |
| Price, billed annually | $199.90/year | $35.99/month ($431.88/year) |
| Domains | 2 | 2 |
| Email volume | 500,000/month | 100,000/month |
| Report history | 1 year | 3 months |
| Email alerts | Included | Listed under the Premium plan |
| DNS record change monitoring (SPF, DKIM, DMARC, BIMI) | Included | Not listed on this plan |
| RUA and RUF report processing | Included | Included |
| Free trial | 14 days, no credit card | See their site |
Two rows matter most for a typical IT team.
Report history. Three months of history is enough to fix today’s problems. It isn’t enough to answer “were we enforcing DMARC last year?” for a cyber-insurance questionnaire or an audit. MonitorDMARC Starter keeps a year.
Alerts. The whole point of monitoring is not having to log in every morning. On MonitorDMARC, email alerts for new failing sources, pass-rate drops, and DNS record changes are part of every plan. EasyDMARC lists “proactive DMARC alerts” as a Premium feature.
Next tier up
| MonitorDMARC Professional | EasyDMARC DMARC Premium | |
|---|---|---|
| Price, billed monthly | $49.99/month | $89.99/month |
| Price, billed annually | $499.90/year | $71.99/month ($863.88/year) |
| Domains | 5 | 4 |
| Email volume | 2,000,000/month | 100,000/month (upgradeable to 5,000,000) |
| Report history | 2 years | 1 year |
Above that, MonitorDMARC has a Business plan ($99.99/month, 15 domains, 5 million emails, 3 years of history), an Enterprise plan ($299.99/month, unlimited domains and volume, custom retention, API access, 99.9% uptime SLA), and Enterprise Dedicated ($4,990/year) on its own isolated instance with dedicated RUA and RUF addresses. EasyDMARC’s larger plans, Deliverability and Enterprise: Email Trust, are custom-priced, so you’ll need to talk to their sales team for a number.
Where EasyDMARC is the better choice
I’d rather you pick the right tool than the cheapest one. EasyDMARC is likely the better fit if:
- You’re an MSP managing many clients. EasyDMARC has a dedicated MSP program and pricing. MonitorDMARC doesn’t have multi-client management or white-label reports.
- You want one platform for more than DMARC. Their higher tiers bundle deliverability analytics, inbox placement testing, reputation monitoring, and threat intelligence.
- You need SSO and audit logs. Their Enterprise plan lists SSO, API access, and audit logs.
- You need lots of integrations. EasyDMARC advertises integrations with 40+ platforms, including Slack. MonitorDMARC sends alerts by email.
Where MonitorDMARC is the better choice
MonitorDMARC is built for the IT admin who just needs DMARC to stop being a mystery:
- Price. At the entry level you pay less than half of EasyDMARC’s monthly-billed price for the same two domains.
- Volume headroom. 500,000 emails a month on Starter, with no overage fees. If you send a monthly newsletter on top of normal business mail, 100,000 can go faster than you’d think.
- Retention. One year of history on the cheapest plan and three years on Business, which helps when someone asks you to prove something happened.
- DNS change monitoring on every plan. You get an alert when someone edits your SPF, DKIM, DMARC, or BIMI records. That’s the kind of change that quietly breaks authentication.
- A dedicated-instance option. If your security team doesn’t like your report data sitting in a shared multi-tenant system, Enterprise Dedicated gives you your own instance and your own reporting addresses.
- Fast setup. Add a domain, verify it with a DNS record, and point your
rua=tag at us. Our setup guide walks through it in about 10 minutes.
How to decide
Ask yourself three questions:
- Do I manage email for other organizations? If yes, look hard at EasyDMARC’s MSP offering.
- Do I need deliverability testing, threat intel, or SSO right now, in this purchase? If yes, EasyDMARC’s broader platform may be worth the premium.
- Do I mainly need to see who’s sending as my domain, fix what’s failing, get alerted when something changes, and keep history? That’s what MonitorDMARC is for.
If you’re still building the case internally, our post on the ROI of DMARC can help you justify the spend, whichever tool you choose.
Try it with your own data
Comparison tables only go so far. The real test is your own mail flow. MonitorDMARC has a 14-day free trial with no credit card. Point your DMARC reports at it, and within a day or two you’ll see who’s sending as your domain and what’s failing. If it isn’t a fit, you’ve lost nothing but a DNS edit. Full plan details are on the pricing page.
